    ? Texas offers the option of non-judicial foreclosure. That means the lender doesn't even have to hold a court hearing where he presents proof and you have the right to challenge it. Instead, they can take away your home just by filing papers. To stop a foreclosure in Texas, you often do not have the courts as a petitionary avenue.

    ? The process period between the time you are noticed of foreclosure and the time the auction happens is just 27 days! Compare that to Ohio, for instance, where it takes a minimum of six months to get to auction.
